About the Role
As a QC Engineer, you will ensure high standards of quality across the production of subsea cables and related accessories.
Quality Standards Development
Analyze and establish quality requirements and standards for raw materials, components, and final products (including cables and accessories).
Develop standard operating procedures for testing, including documentation standards and reporting templates.
Inspection Capability Establishment
Set up standards for inspection equipment, manage procurement and installation, and oversee equipment operations to ensure optimal functionality.
Comprehensive Quality Control
Execute Incoming Quality Control (IQC), In-Process Quality Control (IPQC), and Final Quality Control (FQC), covering tests on electrical, mechanical, and physical characteristics for routine and sample testing.
Testing Support for Project Orders
Collaborate with the Testing team to conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and support order delivery tasks for developer project sites.
Data Management & Analysis
Collect, manage, and analyze inspection data to maintain high-quality standards and identify areas for continuous improvement.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 1 year in quality control or a related engineering field, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Skills & Qualities:
Analytical Ability: Strong skills in analyzing inspection data and identifying quality issues.
Attention to Detail: Precise and thorough in conducting tests and recording results.
Technical Aptitude: Proficiency in operating and maintaining quality control equipment and familiarity with high-voltage testing procedures.
Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication for collaborating with internal teams and documenting inspection processes.
Language Proficiency:
Fluent in English and Mandarin (listening, speaking, reading, and writing), with a TOEIC score of 600 or above.
