About the Role
Project Budgeting & Performance Management
Develop and assess project budgets, focusing on cost-effectiveness and cash flow management.
Track and manage project budgets on a monthly and quarterly basis through rolling adjustments.
Support project goals in profit and cash flow, ensuring financial targets are met.
Analyze project performance and implement improvement strategies.
Risk Management
Conduct assessments of operational risk factors and establish internal control mechanisms.
Implement hedging strategies to manage raw material costs, interest, and exchange rates.
Cost Control & Cross-Functional Coordination
Assist in establishing project quotation mechanisms for accurate financial planning.
Analyze raw material costs and develop mitigation strategies.
Collaborate across departments to support financial objectives and liaise with the accounting department on key metrics.
Requirements
Experience: Experience in project management, budgeting, and financial analysis is preferred, especially in corporate finance or within engineering projects.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or related fields.
Skills & Qualities:
Financial Acumen: Strong abilities in budgeting, cash flow analysis, and financial reporting.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Skilled in identifying cost-saving opportunities and mitigating financial risks.
Attention to Detail: Precision in managing budgets and financial data is essential for this role.
Communication & Teamwork: Excellent communication skills for effective cross-departmental coordination and clear financial reporting.
Adaptability & Initiative: Flexible and proactive, with the ability to handle multiple project financials and adapt to evolving priorities.
Technical Proficiency:
Proficiency in SAP and advanced knowledge in budgeting and cost control systems.
Language Proficiency:
Fluent in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing); proficiency in Taiwanese Hokkien preferred.
Additional Requirements:
Experience in budgeting, cash control, and financial analysis within accounting firms, banks, or brokerage firms is beneficial.
