About the Role
As the cable design Manager, you will be reresponsinle for:
Study and become familiar with CIGRE and IEC cable-related standards.
Establish material standards for cables.
Select accessories for submarine cables.
Review and revise cable design standards.
Design submarine cables by integrating materials, international standards, product requirements, and production equipment capabilities.
Perform electrical parameter calculations for submarine cables.
Perform mechanical parameter calculations for submarine cables.
Prepare and create various technical bid documents.
Lead the design team and collaborate with relevant departments to complete the above design tasks
Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 10 years
Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or other related STEM fields.
Skills & Qualities:
Over 10 years of relevant experience in the design, manufacturing, inspection, or construction of high-voltage (above 66kV) land and marine power cables.
Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
Language Proficiency:
Proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in both Chinese and English is required (TOEIC score of 600 or above)
