About the Role
IoT Project Support: Plan and implement Internet of Things (IoT) projects to enhance production capabilities.
System Coordination: Oversee and monitor new systems and transitions within the production network to ensure seamless integration.
System Integration Development: Design and develop integration solutions across various equipment and systems.
PLC Data Exchange: Facilitate efficient data exchange between PLC systems, optimizing performance and communication.
Network Maintenance: Conduct regular redundancy checks on machinery networks to uphold system integrity.
Network Security & Performance: Ensure the reliable and secure operation of the production network.
Data Collection Systems: Understand and support data collection structures within upper-layer systems for continuous monitoring.
Requirements
Experience: No specific experience required, though knowledge in automation systems is advantageous.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Engineering, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering.
Skills & Qualities:
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Siemens programming, SCADA, and communication protocols like Profinet, Profisafe, EtherCAT, Modbus TCP/UDP, and OPC UA.
Database Management: Basic knowledge of SQL database management.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to address and resolve technical challenges.
Attention to Detail: Precision in monitoring network health and ensuring smooth operations.
Collaboration & Communication: Strong teamwork and communication skills, essential for coordinating with cross-functional teams and supporting smooth project implementation.
Adaptability & Initiative: Flexible, proactive attitude, especially during system upgrades or troubleshooting periods.
Certifications:
Preferred certifications include Automation Engineer certification, Class B or C Mechatronics Technician.
Language Proficiency:
Intermediate English proficiency (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
TOEIC score of 500 or above.
Advanced proficiency in Mandarin.
Additional Requirements:
Accommodation provided for training periods; must be willing to train in New Taipei City with the primary work location in Kaohsiung.
